I’ve wanted to attend MommyCon for a few years now and I’m finally going to MommyCon Chicago 2015! Sebastian and I will be packing our Lillebaby carrier and making the four hour drive into the city. Not only will I have the chance to be a blogger at the event, I’ll also help Kim at Dirty Diaper Laundry in the Cloth Diaper Resource Center!
MommyCon is a boutique-style event meant to support and educate families in a welcoming community. If you’re worried that you’ll need to find babysitters for your older children in order to attend, MommyCon has this covered too! Activities are available for children up to Kindergarten.
I also truly appreciate that MommyCon is affordable, with general admission tickets for $40. Plus, if you use my special MommyCon Promo code (good for general admission to any city), you’ll get $5 off! Use Code: INQMOM15. You can find 2015 MommyCon Events here and buy tickets.
If you want to join me at MommyCon Chicago, the event will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center from 9:00am‐5:00pm. The program includes a variety of workshops, such as Babywearing 101, 50 exhibits, including The Baby Guy Gear Area, and special speakers, such as Cotton Babies’ Jennifer Labit.
What am I most looking forward to, besides meeting Kim and maybe you? These are some of my top picks for the event:
- Sex After Baby, presented by Arms Reach Co-Sleeper.
- Potty Training: 1 of 99 Ways to Get it Done, presented by Potty Schmotty
- Q&A with The Baby Guy NYC.
- Sleep Consultation
- Giveaways!
What are you most excited about?
