Step 1: Grab a glass straw.
Step 2: Grab a strawberry.
Step 3: Push the glass straw through the bottom of the strawberry.
Step 4: Push the straw up to pop off the stem.
Step 5: Enjoy!

Hi Carolyn! Actually, I wondered the same thing when I saw the demonstrations with the flimsy, disposable straws. Precision is not a must here. You just push up and the straw is wide enough to pop off the top. 🙂

Good idea butbi thibk you save more berry by trimming the stem with a pairing knife.

It takes so much more time. In my experience, lots more berry wasted. This barely touches the berry.
