One year ago today, Ezra entered our lives. I was so relieved to be done with my pregnancy and excited (and nervous) to welcome our 2nd baby into our little family. Giving birth the second time around, I felt the same wonder when I held our sweet boy for the first time that I did the first time I saw Ella. Poor Ezra had to wait a few hours for mom and dad to really decide on his name, but I don’t think he minded. Now I can’t imagine him being named anything else.
Our Ezra was a fussy baby who tested mom’s patience, but the reward of his smile (almost) always made up for it. He hated his tummy and wanted to sit up early like his sis. While he’s never been much into cuddles (he’s getting there somewhat now), he preferred the Baby Bjorn over the car seat any day.
Ezra started out long and chunky with full cheeks and bright eyes. He’s followed in the footsteps of his sister and is now getting tall and skinny. I took him in for his 1 yr and he’s gone from all 90th percentile to 95th percentile height and 25th percentile weight. When you crawl and try to walk and move as much as our little guy, though, you’re bound to trim down a bit!
I loved looking through photos of the past year and seeing how much our little one has grown in a year. I love his twinkling, big eyes and contagious grin. While having two has its challenges, I am so grateful to have sweet Ezra in our lives and can’t wait to watch him grow and change.
OH my gosh he is so cute. That picture with his tongue out is so cute! LOVE IT! Happy Birthday to your baby boy!
So, cute, just think how handsome he’ll be in about 13 years.
Hey, you don’t have Keely’s blog listed how am I suppose to keep up with her life, if you don’t list her?
Awww! He sure is adorable, too!
