Who Should I Marry?

I imagine that one day my children will come to me and ask, “Who should I marry?” This is what I’ll say:

Marry the person you can’t wait to wake up and talk to in the morning.

Marry someone you like better than everyone else you know.

Marry the person who shares a joke just by making eye contact with you across a room.

Marry someone who thinks you’re awesome. Period.

Marry the person you’re not embarrassed to fart around – because you’ll face much more embarrassing things together.

Marry someone who just the thought of makes you smile.

Marry the person you’d want to be stuck on a desert island with.

Marry someone whose kisses make your toes tingle.

Marry the person you want to write gushy Facebook statuses about when they’re not around.

Marry your best friend.
