The Combi Fold N Go Stroller arrived just in time for sunny, spring weather! Our 6 month-old was ready to graduate from his car seat/stroller combo and we were ready for a sleeker, more ergonomic option. We assembled the Fold N Go the day it arrived and it quickly became a regular staple for playing outside, visiting the park, and walking to pick up the big kids from school. Baby loves the Combi Fold N Go because it is comfortable, provides ample shade from the sun, and gives him a front row seat to the world. He smiles each time we put him in the stroller, eager to see what’s next. We’re excited to share our Combi Fold N Go Stroller Review today!
Highlights
The Fold N Go is clearly made with the comfort of both parents and babies in mind. I will go into the stroller’s features in detail, but here are some of the highlights for our family:
- Two color choices in black and salsa (red). We selected the vibrant, classic red and love it!
- Ample storage.
- Two cup holders and a removable child’s tray.
- Easy assembly.
- Padded, multi-position, reclining seat.
- 5 Point harness.
- One-step linked brake system.
- 50 lb weight capacity.
- Large canopy with mesh ventilation window.
Assembly
I arrived home one afternoon and my three year-old exclaimed “package!” in delight. We excitedly opened the box , thinking we would need to finish assembly after picking up the big kids from school. To my delight, assembly proved simple enough to complete in ten minutes and use for our school pick up. This stroller required a simple set of parts, no tools, and no mysterious turning “just so” to connect A to B. I am generally all thumbs when it comes to assembly, so I couldn’t wait to do a mini review of this quick and easy stroller assembly!
Maneuverability
This stroller is bigger than your basic umbrella stroller, but it still manages to feel lightweight. The dual front wheel suspension is intended to provide a smooth ride and I found the stroller relatively easy to maneuver.I found it comfortable and easy to push, including on hills and bumpy sidewalks. The handle height worked for both my husband (6 ft 1) and me (5 ft 4), which I consider a big win. I found myself looking forward to pulling out the Fold N Go and exploring the neighborhood with the kids or walking to the local elementary school.
My older children, at 6 and 8, struggled a bit more with controlling the two front wheels, but eventually got the hang of it. I actually felt much safer having them push baby in this stroller than your traditional umbrella stroller because it allowed for more control and a smoother ride, even with an older sibling at the wheel. The one-step linked brake system is also great for piece of mind when big kids are pushing!
Safety
The Fold N Go features a five point harness system with quite a bit of room to adjust for different sized babies. I appreciate the padded harness pads to keep the harness from digging into baby’s shoulders. The stroller is for babies 6 months and older and can be used up to 50 pounds. Our baby began using the stroller at 6 months and enjoys the semi-reclined position the most, allowing him to see his surroundings, but fall asleep when he’s tired.
I often find stroller canopies lacking, leaving baby at the mercy of the sun. The Fold N Go features an extra large canopy, keeping the sun out of baby’s eyes and off of his sensitive skin. The canopy also features a clever mesh ventilation window. This allows air to flow to baby and – most importantly – let’s you watch baby while on the move. My kids were so excited to discover this peek-a-boo feature, letting them to push and watch baby simultaneously.
The Fold N Go also meets two more important safety needs with easy locking wheels. Every stroller we’ve ever owned requires the user to lock the back wheels using two separate levers. The Fold N Go utilizes a one-step linked brake system instead. This means you can put on both brakes immediately using the attached bar to park or even stop safely on an incline. The front wheels are also lockable, allowing for extra secure parking.
Stroller Storage
The first time I looked at the Fold N Go, I wondered where I could keep my keys and cell phone. The usual plastic storage area was noticeably missing. I looked for a moment and realized the stroller features a generously sized, discreet back pocket in the back; ideal for storing personal items, diapers, wipes, and snacks. This is not only a smarter storage space, but a sleeker design as well.
I also appreciate the storage basket at the bottom of the stroller. This has served us well for storing my purse, diaper bag, and snacks, in addition to kid’s backpacks after school. The sides of the basket are high enough to keep items safe and secure.
The Fold N Go includes two cup holders as well; one for adults and one for baby. The second cup holder is part of a removable child tray. I like the option to easily remove the child tray if we don’t need it.
Transporting and Storing
I have to admit that folding the Fold N Go was not intuitive at first. Doing so requires the user to push in a lever at the side, while pulling one built into the seat. Once you’ve folded the stroller once, however, it’s simple from then on out. This stroller is also light enough to easily carry one-handed while folded.
While the Fold N Go is definitely lightweight, it isn’t the most compact stroller. That being said, I find it easy to bring in the back of my mini-van and would have happily used it on our recent flying experience from Iowa to Washington State. I haven’t found the right place to store this stroller in our small home yet so that it is always handy, so I primarily keep it in the trunk of our car.
A Terrific Fit for Our Family
Overall, the Combi Fold N Go Stroller is a terrific fit for our family! Baby is happy, comfortable, and cool. The stroller is lightweight and compact enough to bring on a variety of outings. Different members of our family can easily and comfortably push baby. We are looking forward to regularly using our Fold N Go in the year to come!

I love that large canopy! So many strollers have them but they don’t provide ample shade. The ventilation window is a nice feature, too. Thanks for posting such detailed pictures!

I love your pictures, especially showing how easy it was to put together. You had me at No Tools Required. How much does it cost and where can you get it? If I haven’t said it lately, your kids are beautiful and your baby is simply delish.

Hi Heather! Thanks. 🙂 You can get it from Amazon using one of the links I included in the post for $175. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00S28DPAY/?tag=theinqmom-20 Thanks!

We’ve had a red (love the color) combi stroller since my daughter was an infant. It is so durable and has withstood miles and miles of air, land and car travel. Love this brand.

Hello Mindy,
Great review.
I always use an 11-point checklist when it comes to strollers.
1. Certification
2. Warranties and Return Policies
3. Restraint system
4. Wheels
5. Brakes
6. Canopy
7. Handlebars
8. Shock Absorbers
9. Size of Storage area
10. Fold Mechanism
11. Cup holders/Parent Tray.
Seems like this stroller fit into many of the criterias above. I do have one question. When you fill up the storage area, do you feel that the items inside are lying safe, or is there a risk of things falling out when full? I haven’t tried out this stroller myself; it’s just a question that raised by looking at the images.
The Inquisitive Mom says
Hi Stu! Great question. I often find that items slide out of bottom stroller baskets. This isn’t the case here. No slanted sides to let everything slide.

I think I might have to go and get me one…we are buying new for our last baby. This sounds very nice and easy.

Looks like a great stroller!

This looks like a great stroller. I truly believe that every family should have a good lightweight stroller for traveling, quick trips, etc. I love the large shade too and agree with you, that so few shades really cover a child completely.
The babe looks completely happy!
Celeste says
i love how roomy the basket looks here. One question: does the basket have to be completely empty before you fold it down?
The Inquisitive Mom says
It is roomy! I think it depends on what you have in the basket. It would still fold with my kids relatively empty backpacks, a blanket, and probably a baby carrier. Hope that helps!
