Yesterday, I posted a bit about how we become self-deprecating as we get older. This morning, my little girl put on this super-girly new dress from her Grandma Cathy and I couldn’t stop smiling! If you want to be reminded of how wonderful it is to be a girl, how delightful it feels to put on a pretty dress, and the difference a sparkly pair of tights can make in your day, spend a bit of time with a little girl!
I adore my Ella and wanted to celebrate my sweet, quirky, silly, bright, intelligent girl with a slideshow! If you are able, be sure to turn up the sound!
Music comes from the 2002 Broadway Revival Cast of Flower Drum Song. The Song is “I Enjoy Being a Girl” sung by Sandra Allen.
That’s my Ella as cute as she can be.
She’s absolutely beautiful, Mindy — and we should all find some of ourselves in those moments!
My favorite is toward the end, blue glasses and her “jazz hands”!
I love Ella being a … GIRL!
The song goes perfectly, and Traci is right—the blue sunglasses and the hat take the cake. The Jazz Hands are a bonus! So sweet and she is incredibly photogenic. Thanks for sharing this with us.
she is a doll!
😉
And she is just too sweet!
