Last month, CSN stores invited me to review a product from one of their 200 online stores and I blogged about this opportunity! Once I placed my order to try a Deni Mini Stainless Steel Deep Fryer, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the fryer arrived. In fact, the order already had free shipping and CSN was kind enough to upgrade my order and ship it even faster than expected.
My husband and I have wanted to try a fryer for awhile for making those frozen chicken nuggets, corn dogs, breaded veggies, etc., crispy. While we didn’t want to begin a home diet overwhelmed by fried foods, we thought a fryer would be fun for occasionally frying foods. It also seemed like a great way to cut down on fast food expenditures.
The Deni fryer had the best user reviews in my price range on CSN, so I decided to go with it over the similarly priced Presto. We opted to go with a mini fryer to save space, plus I wanted to find out if the more economical version of the Deni could meet our needs.
Since receiving the Deni Mini Stainless Steel Fryer, we’ve experimented with a variety of foods. The size of the mini fryer is actually deceiving – you can easily fry up all the food you need for a small family of four in one or two rounds. The cooking times provided in the booklet or on food package instructions have been accurate, which has definitely simplified the process. You can get tasty, fried chicken or french fries in a matter of minutes, with little work on your part.
The best part is that my biggest concern about having a home fryer ended up being no problem. I didn’t want our home to end up smelling like fried food or a fast food restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fried smell is minimal and does not linger.
I like the quality of the Deni Mini Stainless Steel Fryer, as well as the ease of use. The fryer required very little set up and could be used within minutes of receiving it after a simple was down of the parts. The fryer directions are fairly straightforward and my only complaints are minor. The magnetic plug-in is not ideal because it can come loose fairly easily. Also, figuring out how to use the fryer basket and close the lid is a bit tricky at first.
If you are looking to get a home fryer, I would recommend purchasing a mini one. You can reuse the oil several times and it is a fun and economical way to enjoy occasional fried food. Instead of making those pricey trips for fast food, you can purchase frozen items you enjoy in bulk and satisfy your craving with a smaller portion. I highly recommend frying high quality frozen chicken and can’t wait to figure out the perfect recipe for fried zuccini. If anyone has one, please share!
*I noticed an error in the dates on the Fill in the Blankie $100 Gift Card Review! There is still lots of time to enter! I apologize for the error and any confusion this may have caused!*
I received complimentary product for this review. I did not receive any payment. All opinions are my own.

This deep fryer is the best in this price range. With the lid on, it cooks faster and the foods do not smell oily.
I love cooking, I love eating foods no oils and also know some local foods. These peppers sound fantastic and I’m intrigued by the fryer.
With one fryer, I can easily and quickly cook every dish I like: all fried foods, food warehouses, including sauces. That’s great.
Thanks for sharing.
