I'm Leavin' on a Jet Plane - The Inquisitive Mom

And, actually, I am not entirely sure when I’ll be back again. Things have been crazy around our house lately and the kids and I are headed off to visit family a week early sans dad. He’ll be joining us occasionally, but he’s had unexpected responsibilities at work. I can’t wait to arrive in Seattle, smell the fresh air, and get my first glimpse of the gorgeous Puget Sound! Ah, home – the ocean, the mountains, the traffic…well, I miss most of you!

Thanks to everyone who gave me such amazing, detailed advice for flying solo with two kiddos! We are packed and eager to head out the door. Ella woke up at 7 am bright eyed and ready to put on her back pack and go now. I let her watch a bit of tv later on in the morning, but then cut her off because they’ll be plenty of sitting with the nearly 2 hour drive to the airport and 4 hours plus flight!

I apologize for not being a very active blogger friend lately. Please forgive me. Things have been hectic preparing to go last minute. I am so excited for vacation and most of all to see my family and friends – in fact, I might even get a mini vacation with my husband!
