Hello Dallas!

So, I’ve arrived in Dallas, it’s 3pm, and I’m lying around watching tv and fiddling on the internet! We had a 6 am PST flight, so I’ve been up quite awhile, but I feel amazing. I called to talk to the kids and – shockingly – Ella actually stopped playing at Grandma and Grandpa’s to talk to me! It’s so strange to be somewhere in the middle of the afternoon with no one to take care of or feed. I can really do whatever I please.  I don’t have too ambitious of plans today. Tim and I will go out tonight when he is finished working and tomorrow I’m thinking long, uninterrupted bath and book, nearby shopping, maybe a movie, and then completing a bit of work!

I’ve been home visiting family with the kids over the past week and we’ve loved hanging out with them. Both kids love being around their cousins, aunts, and uncles and playing to their hearts’ content. Our families are awesome to take the kids for a few nights for us so we can have some rare alone time together! September marks our 6 year wedding anniversary, so this is a perfect opportunity to celebrate a little bit early in style.

Well, I’m off to try some hulu out and see if I can watch Modern Family. We don’t get cable at home and everyone keeps telling me about it!
