Have you ever selected an outfit for your baby because the outer fabric felt so soft that you couldn’t wait to put it against your little one’s delicate skin, only to open it and discover that the inner fabric was scratchy and stiff? This bizarre feature of baby clothing has often bothered me and I always slip my hand inside a cozy looking sleeper or soft little shirt to see if it’s a mirage before purchasing it.
When our little Recycle Worms Set from Bamboosa, the first thing I did was sneak my hand inside to feel the inner fabric. Bamboosa’s soft little t-shirt and pants set with their cute eco-friendly logo didn’t disappoint. Not only were the clothes soft against baby’s skin, they felt downright luxurious. I have a few bamboo fitted diapers and I’d heard the benefits of bamboo flooring, but this adorable outfit piqued my curiosity about bamboo clothing.
It turns out that bamboo fabric is soft, lightweight, and cozy. Unlike many traditional fabrics used in baby’s clothes, bamboo is ideal for baby’s skin because it absorbs 3 to 4 times better than cotton. This means that bamboo clothes are great year-round because they keep skin comfortable and cool in hot weather and help baby stay warmer in cold temperatures. In addition to being thermal regulating, bamboo clothing is anti-static, odor resistant, and has natural UV protection.
I selected a medium set for Kai, hoping it would fit his long, lean frame. The outfit is loose, but comfortable, and the elastic waistband pants provide a great, flexible fit over cloth diapers. I wouldn’t normally pick the natural bamboo color for baby clothing, but I liked the look of it once I put it on Kai. In addition to the adorable recycle worm design, Bamboosa also offers other fun prints such as the Veggie Me Set, and the newborn Panda Love Set, with it’s coordinating cayenne red pants. I also appreciated how the bamboo clothing didn’t require any special changes to my normal washing routine of cold water wash and medium dry cycle.
The Bamboosa baby product line extends beyond clothing to washcloths, blankets, bibs, towels, and soaps. The price range is comparable to full price items at national children’s clothing stores. When you purchase Bamboosa BambooBaby products, however, you are supporting a business where the items are made in America using sustainable, renewable bamboo that is organically grown without chemicals or pesticide. You also support a company that practices what it preaches, including recycling and directing customers to other like-minded businesses. I will definitely return to Bamboosa in the future to purchase unique, eco-friendly gifts.

Kai looks adorable in his bamboo baby clothing! You’re lucky to have the chance to review the product for yourself because you do want to find the best kind of clothing for your baby. And bamboo clothes are eco-friendly, soft and gentle on sensitive skin, and breathable in hot weather and warm in cold weather. I think it is one of the best types of clothing for babies. Anyway, thank you for the review!
