swimming of course!!!!
We love swimming! And I’m definitely hoping to make a “water blob” this year with the sheets of plastic!
It may sound counterintuitive, but we like to spend as much time outside as possible once it gets hot. We visit the playground in the morning, come home and have lunch and nap time from about noon to three when the sun is at its hottest, and then play in the sandbox DH DIYed in the backyard while mama cooks dinner. After all that playing, my two and a half year old never objects to a nice bath and by bed time, we’re all pooped out!
We keep cool by doing water fights and playing in our creek.
Definitely the pool. We have a small one or use the one at the gym.
We love to garden and play in the water in the summer
Swimming! Thanks!
Water play is the best way to stay cool.
Slip and slide and the pool~
Swimming keeps us cool!

We water the grass (Which is actually playing in the hose) then go to the library or museum when its really hot out side and enjoy the air conditioning and sneak in some educational stuff ๐
Kiddie pool in the yard. We aren’t ready for big pools yet!
Those are some cute swim covers!
The pool or slip n slide!
We plan trips for cooler parts of the day and spend the hot times in the shade by the wading pool or sprinkler.

Staying cool by chillin’ in the baby pool in the yard. Next to doggy’s pool in the yard ๐
Our only child is 9 months, so there is not a lot for us to do yet. We do however like to play in the rain and go to the pool on hot days. He splashes around and giggles.
Some day in the near future we can go to water parks, have water balloon and squirt gun fights. Even eat popsicles and ice cream.
We’re getting our 6mo a splash pool!
We stay cool in the pool.
Im in the QCA ( IOWA!) too- so you know thed best way to stay cool here is to hit the pools! But with 6 kiddos myself it can be Hard! So we plan to invest in a inflatable water slide soon!
We like to take the kids to our neighborhood pool and sprayground! Or sometimes, we just turn the sprinklers on. ๐
My favorite way to stay cool is by spending the morning all the way down by the water at our local beach. Once the beach fills up at 10 a.m., we head indoors.
