I spent the morning with Kai, no rush, unconcerned with time. We enjoyed an impromptu date of shopping, the mall’s indoor play area, and a shared treat in the food court. As we laughed and played, I felt such gratitude for this sweet boy. This November, it’s natural to reflect on all we’re thankful for. Most of all, I’m thankful for the four people who fill my every day with such joy.
My sweet little daily companion, spunky, adventurous, and funny. He’s not a baby, but he’s still my little guy. His vocabulary is growing daily and you never know what he’ll come up with next.
My smart, creative, sensitive girl who amazes me daily with her questions and comprehension of the world around her. She’s – thankfully – not too big for cuddles and reading together.
My kind little boy with such a good heart, curious about this life and the next. He gives epic hugs, will melt you with his smile, and is eager to help.
I’m grateful every day to have this amazing man as my partner. I loved him 9 years ago when we married, but I’m awed at the depth and breadth of those feelings today. I count him as the greatest gift of my life.
