In preparation for our big family travel adventure in just over 2 (!) weeks, we’ve been watching our Little Pim French Language Videos. These videos are geared toward introducing infants to 5 year-olds to basic language skills. While they won’t make anyone in our home fluent when we arrive in France, they are introducing us to the sounds, sights, and nuances of the French language.
As French is new to all of us, we decided to make watching the videos a family activity. We especially found that the kids were more eager and willing to repeat the words alongside a parent who was trying, making mistakes, and enjoying the experience than they were on their own. The videos make up just one part of our learning experience, combined with flash cards and a musical CD.
Here’s a video peak at Dad, Ella, and Kai enjoying the videos together. Ezra was too shy for the camera.
