I See Me! I’m an All Star Personalized Book Review

Have you ever invited your child to insert their own name as the protagonist of a book? There’s something thrilling about placing yourself as the main character and imagining performing daring stunts or trying new things. I See Me! offers children the opportunity to literally be the stars of their own books, using pre-made content that suits their interests. Your child can select their own topic or you can surprise them with a personalized gift to celebrate an occasion.

We recently gifted my 5 year-old son with his own I See Me! sports book for kids as a preschool graduation present. The new I’m An All Star! book proved a great choice for our budding soccer player and he loved seeing his name each time he turned a page. I appreciated the option to choose 5 sports from a variety of choices, including baseball, basketball, bowling, cycling, dance, football, golf, gymnast, hockey, karate. skating, skiing, soccer, swimming, and tennis. The book also impressed me with its focus on positive body image, health, and good sportsmanship over athletic prowess.

The sports-themed book soon became a family favorite, with our oldest enjoying reading it out loud to Ezra. He also liked testing out his letter and name recognition skills, searching for his name in the text and pictures. I’m An All Star! truly proved a great selection for our soon to be Kindergartner, with just the right number of pages and fun illustrations. I appreciated the hardbound quality and would recommend it to families seeking personalized children’s books.

We also had the opportunity to give a Who Loves Me? book to our 3 year-old, Kai, for his birthday last month. We won this sweet, personalized book for him awhile back and decided to wait for a special occasion to gift it. I am not certain Kai appreciates the beauty of the book yet, but his older siblings are tickled by it. Each section is personalized with the names of people who love Kai, including his parents, grandparents, and each of his siblings. This lovely keepsake will be sure to interest him in the years to come – I only wish an option for a board book style was available for smaller, curious hands, over the more delicate standard pages.
