When the Kids Get the Camera…Sometimes magic happens.
Dad pulled out the “real” camera recently. We’re generally lazy and simply depend on our cell phones and filters to record memories these days. This means taking lots of shots and a hit and miss of blurry and out of focus photos, a’la the Little Critters “Just Me and MyCamera.”
Our kids got their hands on our camera, however, and by miracle of automatic settings, took a series of hilarious, in-focus photos.
We discovered these treasures during a recent upload and I laughed out loud, delighted at this glimpse into their world.
The joy. The laughter. The bright eyes. Oh, my!
They captured the world of childhood in ways I’m constantly trying, but never succeed at. I love these goofballs!
I occasionally hand over my camera to the kiddos……some of their shots are quite impressive!
Some of my favorites are from when my boy took the camera on a week long school trip…..great stuff!
