We just made the 17 hour trip from Iowa to New York last week with 4 kids ages 9, 7, 4, and 1. We came prepared with snacks, tablets, and promises of adventure. We alternatively had the best time of our lives, the worst time, the most fun, and the least – all in one week. And we can’t wait to do it again. This is every family road trip in Gifs.

2. You’ve just stopped for lunch, where they ate nothing. You run into the gas station to fill up and suddenly they are starving – for candy.
