My seven-week-old nephew loves to sleep in the comfort of a parent’s arms. He is also figuring out latching and struggles with an upset tummy. I recently shared the newly-released Whisbear with his family, in hopes that this cuddly bear with a cry sensor and soothing white noise might help comfort baby. My nephew loves to snuggle with his Whisbear in his bouncy seat and it soothes him when he fusses. Whisbear is a soft, smart toy that soothes and comforts your child as they grow. I’m excited to share a Whisbear review and giveaway with you!
The Whisbear The Humming Bear Story
“My first son was suffering from colic and crying for hours at a time. Sleep seemed like an impossible luxury,” said Zuzanna, CEO and co-founder of Whisbear, and now working mother of three. Her struggles sparked the idea of a soft, gentle toy that emits white noise, known to pacify colicky babies. This is how Whisbear was born.
The Scandinavian look of Whisbear is appealing to both parents and children. “Our project was inspired by the first kids’ drawings, where the arms and legs spring straight out of the head,” said Zuzanna.
Only two years after Zuzanna started the company with her sister, Julia Sielicka, Whisbear won the 2016 Kind + Jugend Innovation Award in Cologne, Germany, the leading European award frequently referred to as the “Oscar” of the toy industry. Whisbear was the only independent toy brand among nominees.
US Release
Families all over Europe already use Whisbear to soothe little ones for a better night’s sleep for baby – and mom and dad! Whisbear is now making its US debut and can be found at Amazon (affiliate link).
How it Works
The sweet Whisbear has paws with securely sewn in magnets that attach easily to a crib, stroller, car seat, or even a parent’s arm. Hidden inside the cozy bear is an innovative CRY Sensor device that emits a special tone of white noise and features a stand-by mode that activates when baby cries. The sensor device is run by two batteries and can be easily turned on and off by parents. It will also turn off automatically after 40 minutes if activated by cries.
Whisbear can also be cuddled by baby to promote motor and sensory development. The bear has rustling ears and paws, along with fun, contrasting fabrics to engage baby as she grows.
We don’t have a tiny baby, but our 2-year-0ld loved snuggling the super soft and cozy Whisbear. He would carry him everywhere – even the library!
Made With Safety In Mind
Whisbear is designed and manufactured responsibly in Poland, adhering to top quality standards within the European Union. It has been awarded the TUV International Safety Certificate and comes with a Lifetime Guarantee.

I like that whisbear has magnets and can attach to a car seat or stroller. I also like that it has a sensor that if the baby is crying it turns on a hum and shuts off by itself.. Great idea!

This is a very unique & interesting item. It is so cute and it sounds like it would work for any small baby from the beginning. My good friend’s daughter just had a new baby and he seems to be a little fussy at times. I think this would comfort him!!!
