My toddler is crazy about food pouches. We started with “safe” foods like fruits, then quickly
discovered he would eat just about anything – green veggies, grains, fruits – in a pouch. They became a life-saver on the go, offering a healthy snack during shopping trips, school pick-ups, and visits to the Children’s Museum. They were convenient, healthy, and a quick boost on the go.
When Fruit.O contacted me about their version of the food pouch for adults, I was intrigued. I often find myself rushing through meals, skipping lunches, or grabbing something less than nutritious. Choosing a pouch that’s nutritious and convenient as a mom just made sense.
Fruit.O sent my family Mango-Pear-Pineapple and Blueberry-Blackberry-Banana to review. Each pack came with 10 pouches, but they quickly started disappearing as my kids, especially my toddler, wanted to “test” these pouches for themselves. In fact, I had to eventually hide them fro my two year-old!

I personally found eating from a pouch a little odd at first, but really appreciated the convenience of these quick snacks full of crushed fruits without added preservatives, and boasting only a 100 calories. The pouches were surprisingly sweet and I liked the unique blend of flavors.
I personally preferred the Mango-Pear-Pineapple mix, mainly because I found the banana flavor a bit overwhelming. Other tasters in my house felt the opposite, preferring the berry blend. While this wasn’t the first snack I personally chose at home, I liked the option of having in my purse on the go without worrying about a fresh piece of fruit going bad, forgotten in my purse or the car.
I would recommend Fruit.O as a great option for your family to have on hand for moms, an after school snack, a lunchbox addition, or your toddler’s favorite “treat”!
Interesting! I never thought about food pouches for adults! Yummy! 🙂
Yeah, I don’t think I would eat out of a pouch…. they are nice for traveling with kids though. I would prefer to just throw an apple in my bag.
Fruit pouches for adults huh? I am not sure if I could get over the kid factor. You have given me something to ponder.
