Our garden is thriving, despite our black thumbs of the past. We have a bounty of tomatoes, onions, peaches, and plums. Apples and squash are in our future. Gardening is an excellent way to go green, with one setback; fresh produce has a short shelf life. Thankfully, Debbie Meyer GreenBags and GreenBoxes help extend the life of fruits and vegetables, giving gardeners more time to sautee, can, and chop from spring to fall.
Fruits and vegetables release ethylene gases during the natural ripening process after the harvest. Exposure of the produce to these gases accelerate the aging and deterioration – that’s where Debbie Meyer GreenBags come in! - Easy to use – store food in the refrigerator or on your counter top.

Our Debbie Meyers Green Experience
Our neighbors recently gave us two bags of fresh corn and cucumbers from their garden. Earlier that day, I purchased blueberries and strawberries on sale, then picked fresh tomatoes from our garden. I dreaded the idea of any of this delicious food going to waste and I didn’t have plans to immediately can.
Luckily, the Debbie Meyer green solutions arrived just in the nick of time! I immediately stored our corn and cucumber in the GreenBags and stored them on the counter until grilling time. I then pulled out the GreenBoxes to extend the life of our fruit.
These containers made a noticeable difference. The corn lasted days longer than usual in the GreenBags and I simply had to wipe out moisture to keep them fresh. The blueberries, normally so quick to get mushy, remained firm and tart. These Debbie Meyers green solutions will definitely be my go-to produce solutions from now on.
