Our MAGFORMERS Experience

MAGFORMERS sent our family the new 36 Pc set, with neon colored squares and triangles that are ideal for little fingers to hold. My kids, ages 4, 7, and 9, really enjoyed playing with this set of magnetic building toys. The 26Pc is the perfect toy for building the ‘magic ball’, houses, towers and much more! My 4 year-0ld immediately recognized MAGFORMERS from school and eagerly showed me how to create 3D structures from 2D nets. He also loves to stack the shapes together, build patterns from the colors, and stick the magnets to the outside of the bathtub. While these are not geared toward my 18 month-old son, I like that they don’t have small, ouchy parts that are easily swallowed or lost.

While I truly enjoy building with Mega Blocks, I’ll confess to getting frustrated with smaller sets and complicated instructions. MAGFORMERS quickly became a favorite of mine because you don’t need a ton of confusing parts to build something amazing. We would love to get more sets to build taller, more complex structures in the future.
